About Passbolt

Passbolt is a password manager designed for teams first. Every secret is encrypted with OpenPGP keys for each user, so sharing a password with a colleague or group re-encrypts it for them, and permissions can be managed per folder or per item. The Community Edition is free and open source under AGPLv3, with unlimited users, browser extensions, mobile apps, a CLI and an API, and you run it on your own server through Docker, Linux packages or other installers. Paid Pro and Enterprise editions add features such as LDAP and directory sync, SSO, password expiry policies and support, either self-hosted or as Passbolt Cloud. It suits IT and DevOps teams that want to share credentials securely and keep the server under their own control.

Best for: IT and DevOps teams that want a self-hosted, open-source vault for shared credentials.
