About Proton Pass

Proton Pass is an end-to-end encrypted password manager from Proton, the Swiss company behind Proton Mail and Proton VPN. Besides passwords, passkeys and notes, it can create hide-my-email aliases so you can sign up for services without revealing your real address. Its apps are open source and independently audited. The free plan includes unlimited logins and devices plus a limited number of aliases, while paid plans add more aliases, built-in two-factor codes and vault sharing. It suits privacy-focused users, especially those already using other Proton services.

Best for: Privacy-focused users who want email aliases built in.
