About Playground
Playground started as a free, open-ended image generator and has since refocused on design. Instead of a blank prompt box it leads with templates for logos, T-shirts, stickers, posters, invitations, social posts and mock-ups, which you customise with prompts and then refine with AI editing, upscaling and background removal. Generation runs on its own Muse model plus partner models such as Google's Nano Banana, OpenAI's GPT Image and Seedream. The free plan allows a limited number of images every few hours with slower queues at peak times; paid tiers raise the limits, unlock premium templates and higher-resolution editing, and the top tier adds API access. All plans include a royalty-free commercial licence. It runs in the browser and as an iOS app. It suits small businesses, print-on-demand sellers and casual creators who want finished graphics rather than raw art.
Best for: Small businesses and print-on-demand sellers making logos, merch and social graphics.
