About Poll Everywhere
Poll Everywhere lets presenters ask live questions and show the results on screen while the audience answers from their phones or laptops. Question types include multiple choice, word clouds, open-ended answers, Q&A with upvoting, Likert scales, clickable images, competitions and attendance check-ins. Polls can be embedded directly in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Canva and PDFs, so you don't have to switch windows mid-talk. It is widely used in universities for attendance and participation tracking as well as in corporate training and town halls. A free plan supports small audiences, while paid plans raise the audience cap, add AI question prompts, reporting, attendance management and team features; prices are in US dollars and some plans are annual only. Compared with Mentimeter or Slido it is stronger on classroom grading and attendance, and less focused on designing a full slide deck.
Best for: Lecturers and trainers who want live polls and attendance inside their existing slides.
