About Prismic
Prismic is a hosted headless CMS aimed at marketing websites. Developers build reusable page sections, called slices, as components in frameworks such as Next.js, Nuxt or SvelteKit, using the Slice Machine tool to model them alongside the code. Marketers then compose and reorder those slices to build new landing pages without asking a developer, with live previews, scheduling and multi-language content. Its pricing is lower than most enterprise headless CMSs: a free plan for a single user, and paid plans priced per repository with more users, locales and bandwidth, up to enterprise tiers. It is a good fit for startups and agencies running content-heavy marketing sites. The trade-offs are that it is less suited to complex, deeply relational content or non-website channels, and the slice approach means editors are limited to what developers have built. It is a web app with no self-hosted version.
Best for: Marketing sites where developers ship sections and marketers build pages.
