About Renshuu

Renshuu is a Japanese learning platform built by a small independent team. Everything revolves around a central dictionary that tracks what you know, with spaced-repetition quizzes for vocabulary, kanji, grammar and example sentences, organised by JLPT level, school grade or your own custom lists. It also has games, reading practice, writing practice, a grammar library, achievements and a community, plus a cute mascot-driven style that keeps things light. Most of it is free, and an optional paid Pro membership adds extra features and supports development. The amount of content and settings can be overwhelming at first, and the design is busy compared with focused apps such as WaniKani. It runs in the browser and in iOS and Android apps.
