About Requestly

Requestly started as a browser extension for intercepting and modifying HTTP traffic and has grown into a full API client, now owned by BrowserStack. The desktop app sends REST and GraphQL requests, organises collections and environments, runs scripts, tests and a collection runner, and keeps local projects as plain JSON files on your disk with native Git workflows and two-way GitHub or GitLab sync. It imports Postman collections and environments in one step and runs Postman-style scripts without rewrites, so it is pitched directly at teams leaving Postman. Team plans, billed per user, add shared workspaces, a secrets vault, AI test generation, mock servers and enterprise controls such as SSO, SCIM and audit logs, with a 30-day free trial; the HTTP rules interception tools are priced separately. It runs on macOS, Windows and Linux, with browser extensions. The trade-offs are that there is no ongoing free plan for the API client, and the product has changed shape quickly. It suits teams that want a Git-friendly Postman replacement.

Best for: Teams moving off Postman who want local, Git-based collections.
