About Spline
Spline is a 3D design tool that runs in the browser and is aimed at designers rather than 3D specialists. You build scenes from primitives, extruded shapes and imported models, add materials, lighting and physics, then animate them with states, events and transitions so objects react to hovers, clicks and scrolling. Finished scenes can be embedded on websites through a lightweight viewer, exported to code or to iOS and Android apps, and edited with teammates in real time much like Figma. It also offers AI generation of 3D models and textures using credits. It is not designed for production modeling, sculpting or rendering for film. Spline has a free plan, with paid Hobby, Pro and team plans per seat that add unlimited files, video export, extra credits and app export, cheaper when billed annually.
Best for: Product and web designers adding interactive 3D to sites and apps.
