About Shapr3D

Shapr3D set out to make professional CAD feel as direct as sketching. It started on iPad with Apple Pencil support and now also runs on Mac, Windows and Vision Pro, using Siemens' Parasolid kernel so models are accurate enough for manufacturing and export cleanly to STEP and other CAD formats. You sketch with constraints, push and pull faces, and can switch between direct modeling and a parametric history, then produce 2D drawings or view designs in AR. It is popular with industrial designers, architects doing concept work, woodworkers and 3D-printing hobbyists. It lacks the depth of assemblies, simulation and data management found in SolidWorks or Fusion. The free Basic plan limits the number of projects and export quality, while the Pro subscription, billed monthly or yearly, unlocks full features; enterprise plans add team management.
