About TurboScan
TurboScan by Piksoft is a long-running mobile scanner app that turns phone photos of receipts, documents and whiteboards into cropped, cleaned-up PDFs or JPEGs. Multi-page scans can be extended later with an add-page button, and documents are sent by email, AirDrop, the share sheet or printed through AirPrint or a printer maker's app; faxing goes through a separate Turbo Fax app. On iPhone, scans can be backed up to iCloud Drive and restored on another device, while on Android backups have to be turned on in settings. There is a free version and a paid Pro version on each store, bought separately for iOS and Android. It suits people who want a simple, offline scanner without accounts, subscriptions or cloud sync, and is less suited to anyone who needs OCR search, team sharing or desktop apps, which CamScanner or Adobe Scan cover.
Best for: People who want a simple offline phone scanner without accounts or subscriptions.
