About UPDF
UPDF is a PDF editor from Superace Software that covers the everyday jobs people otherwise buy Acrobat for: editing text and images inside a PDF, annotating, filling and building forms, signing, redacting, organising pages, OCR on scanned files and converting to and from Office formats. It runs as a desktop app on Windows and Mac, as mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, and partly in the browser, and one account covers all of them. A separate AI add-on, sold as its own subscription with a short trial, summarises long documents, translates them, answers questions about a PDF and turns content into mind maps. You can download and try the editor without paying, but most editing and export features stamp a trial watermark and conversions are capped per day. To remove those limits you buy UPDF Pro, either as a yearly subscription or a one-time perpetual licence, which makes it a common pick for people who want to stop renting Acrobat. Cloud storage and an e-signature service are offered as extra plans.
Best for: People who want an Acrobat-style editor on every device without a mandatory subscription.
