About UU Remote
UU Remote (网易UU远程) is a remote control app from NetEase, the Chinese games company. It lets you reach a home or office computer from another PC, a Mac, a phone, a tablet or a TV, and it is built with remote gaming in mind: the vendor advertises 4K streaming at up to 144 frames per second, gamepad passthrough and hundreds of ready-made on-screen key layouts so PC games can be played from a touchscreen. The same app covers ordinary remote work and remote help, with file transfer without size limits, multi-monitor control, a privacy screen that hides what the remote machine shows, and Wake-on-LAN to switch a computer on from afar. Connections are made with a device ID and verification code, and the vendor says sessions are end-to-end encrypted. NetEase markets every feature as free. The app and website are in Chinese and aimed mainly at users in mainland China, which matters if you need English support or an international company account. It runs on Windows, macOS, iOS, Android and Android TV.
Best for: Chinese-speaking gamers who want to play their PC games from a phone or tablet at high frame rates.
