About ZeptoMail (Zoho CPaaS)

ZeptoMail is Zoho's service for automated app email such as receipts, sign-in codes and password resets. It deliberately handles transactional mail only, not newsletters, which helps keep its shared sending IPs reputable. Zoho has folded it into a wider product called Zoho CPaaS, which adds SMS, WhatsApp and voice APIs; the email channel keeps the ZeptoMail name and existing integrations carry on. Apps connect either through an SMTP relay, which needs no code changes, or through a REST API with client libraries for Node.js, Python, PHP, Java and C#. Delivery logs show whether each message was delivered, bounced or failed. Instead of monthly plans, you buy prepaid credits, each covering a block of 10,000 emails and valid for six months, and the first credit is free. Dedicated IPs are an add-on. It is a good fit for small and mid-size businesses, especially those already using Zoho apps, that send irregular volumes and don't want a subscription.
