Chanty is a lightweight team messenger aimed at small and mid-sized businesses that find Slack more than they need. It covers public and private channels, direct messages, audio and video calls, and file sharing, and adds a built-in task board: any message can be turned into a task, and tasks appear in a Kanban view beside your chats. Teambook gathers tasks, pinned messages and files in one place. The free plan suits teams of up to five members with a 20 GB file allowance and a limited number of integrations, while the Business plan, priced per user per month, unlocks unlimited group calls, roles and permissions, more storage and more integrations, with enterprise options such as SSO. Apps are available for web, Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. It suits small teams that want chat and basic task tracking in one inexpensive tool.
