About Civo

Civo is a cloud provider built around Kubernetes. Its managed clusters launch in under two minutes, and it also offers plain virtual machines, managed databases, load balancers, block storage and NVIDIA GPU instances for AI work. Prices are flat per hour or month with data transfer included, which makes bills easier to predict than at the big hyperscalers. The company positions itself as a sovereign cloud: it runs dedicated regions in the UK, India and other countries that are hosted in-country under local law, and it sells private cloud versions of the same stack for companies that want to run it on their own hardware. New accounts get a month of free credit to try the platform. It suits developers and startups who want a simple Kubernetes-first cloud, and organisations with data residency requirements, but has fewer regions and services than AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

Best for: Developers and startups wanting a simple Kubernetes-first cloud with predictable bills.
