About Craft

Craft is a notes and documents app known for its looks: content is made of blocks you can nest into pages, style as cards, and publish as clean web pages. It covers daily notes, tasks, whiteboards, templates and an AI assistant, and has API and MCP access so other tools and AI agents can read and write your documents. Craft began as an Apple-first app and won Apple's Mac App of the Year, and it now also runs on Windows, Android and the web. A free plan gives full features with a cap on content blocks and storage, and paid Plus, Family and Team plans remove the limit and add more AI. The trade-offs are that documents live in Craft's own format and cloud, it lacks the plugin depth of Obsidian, and team features are lighter than Notion's. It suits individuals and small groups who care about well-designed documents they can share.

Best for: People who want beautiful, shareable documents and notes, especially on Apple devices.
