About DailyBean
DailyBean is a simple journaling app that records your day with icons rather than long writing. Each day you tap a mood, then pick from blocks for weather, sleep, people, food, chores and other activities, and add an optional photo and note. The result is a colourful calendar of beans that shows how your mood shifts and which parts of your day seem to affect it, with basic analysis on the free tier and deeper reports on premium. Health data such as sleep and exercise can be synced, and you can customise blocks to fit your life. It is made by the studio Bluesignum and is especially popular for its playful design. The app is free with ads and limits on photos; the Premium Pass removes ads and adds custom blocks, in-depth analysis, more photos per day and sync across up to five devices. It runs on iPhone and Android. It is not built for long-form journaling or habit goals.
Best for: People who want a playful, low-effort daily log of mood and activities.
