About Reflection

Reflection is a guided journal that mixes prompts with AI help. You can write freely or follow one of more than a hundred guided journeys from wellbeing and personal-growth experts, and an AI coach offers follow-up questions based on what you just wrote. Voice journaling transcribes spoken entries, and AI search lets you ask questions about your own history in plain language. Monthly and annual reviews, analytics, templates and tags help with reflection over time. The free plan is genuinely usable, with unlimited private entries, prompts, reminders, search and import and export, though syncing between devices is limited; Premium adds unlimited AI features, cross-device sync, rich text and PDF exports, billed monthly or yearly with a free trial. It runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android and the web. It sits between simple prompt apps and heavier AI journals, and people who want no AI at all can simply ignore those features.

Best for: People who want prompts and optional AI guidance without paying upfront.
