About Enpass

Enpass takes a different approach from most commercial password managers: it does not keep your vault on its own servers. The encrypted database lives on your devices, and you choose how to sync it, using a cloud drive you already have such as iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive, a WebDAV server, or local Wi-Fi sync. Apps cover Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android, with browser extensions for autofill, and features include password audits, breach alerts, passkeys, TOTP codes and attachments. Enpass offers a free desktop tier and paid personal and family subscriptions that unlock mobile use and extras; its business plans keep data in the company's own Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace storage. It suits people and companies who want a polished commercial app but don't want a third-party vendor holding their vault.

Best for: People who want a commercial manager without storing their vault on the vendor's servers.
