About EveryCircuit

EveryCircuit is a circuit simulator built around animation. While a simulation runs, voltages, currents and charge flow are drawn on top of the schematic, and you can flip switches, turn potentiometers or change source voltages and see the circuit react in real time. It covers passive parts, transistors, logic gates, flip-flops, op-amps, 555 timers and converters, with an on-screen oscilloscope, I-V curves and AC analysis with Bode plots. The same account works in the web app and the Android and iOS apps, and a public gallery holds millions of user-made circuits to explore. The free version lets you run any public circuit but limits your own circuits to a handful of components; a subscription or one-time purchase unlocks full use on all platforms, and teachers can buy class licences per semester. It is aimed at students and hobbyists learning how circuits behave rather than at professional design work.

Best for: Electronics students and hobbyists who learn best by watching circuits behave in real time.
