About Filament
Filament is an open-source UI framework for Laravel that has become the most popular way to build admin panels in the PHP world. Developers define resources for their Eloquent models and get list tables with filters, search and bulk actions, create and edit forms with dozens of field types, relation managers, dashboards with widgets, notifications and multi-tenancy, all rendered with Livewire, Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS so pages feel interactive without writing a separate JavaScript front end. Its form, table and action packages can also be used in ordinary Laravel apps, and hundreds of community plugins cover extras such as permissions, media libraries and charts. It is MIT-licensed and free, with the app running on your own Laravel server. It suits Laravel teams building back offices for their products or full internal applications quickly. It is only for PHP and Laravel developers, upgrades between major versions can take work, and business users cannot build with it on their own.
Best for: Laravel developers building admin panels and back offices for their applications.
