About React-admin

React-admin is a mature open-source framework from the French agency Marmelab for building admin panels and B2B single-page applications. Developers declare resources and get list, edit, create and show views with filtering, pagination, forms, validation, authentication and permissions, then customise anything with standard React components. Data providers connect it to REST and GraphQL APIs and to backends such as Supabase, Firebase and many others, and the default look uses Material Design, with a shadcn/ui kit and a headless core for other designs. The core is MIT-licensed and free; a paid Enterprise Edition adds modules such as real-time updates, audit logs, role-based access control, editable data grids, calendars and tree views, plus professional support. It has a large community, extensive documentation and a long track record in production. It runs wherever you host your front end. Like any framework it needs React developers, and building a polished app still takes more work than using a low-code builder.

Best for: Front-end teams building long-lived admin apps in React on their own APIs.
