About FlashPrint
FlashPrint is the slicing software Flashforge provides for its 3D printers. It turns STL, OBJ, 3MF or FPP models into print files using official presets for Flashforge machines, and it includes the usual tools: automatic model repair, orientation optimisation, cutting a model along a plane, copying sliced models, and a preview that shows supports, shells and rafts separately. It can also add relief patterns to a model's surface from a dragged-in picture. Version 5 added a reworked interface, grouped job lists for running several printers, and remote control with camera views to start, pause or adjust prints over the network. FlashPrint is free to download, but it only targets Flashforge printers. Flashforge now recommends its newer Flash Studio Desktop slicer for most current models, while FlashPrint remains supported for selected current and many older printers. It suits owners of older Flashforge machines or anyone with proven FlashPrint profiles who wants the official, low-fuss workflow.
Best for: Owners of older Flashforge printers who want official presets and simple slicing.
