About Lychee Slicer

Lychee Slicer, made by Mango 3D, prepares 3D models for printing. It started as a resin (MSLA) slicer known for its automatic orientation, hollowing and support generation, and later added FDM filament printing, so a single app can now handle both kinds of printer. You load a model, place it on one or more build plates, add supports, and export a file in the format your printer expects; the company lists compatibility with more than 750 printers. It is popular with miniature and tabletop hobbyists, who rely on its support tools and its companion library of premium pre-supported models. Lychee runs on Windows, macOS and Linux and needs an account. There is a free Lite edition with the basic slicing tools, while the Plus subscription unlocks the advanced support, hollowing and automation features, and a Library tier bundles Plus with access to downloadable models. Compared with free open-source slicers it trades openness for polish and resin-specific tooling.

Best for: Resin printing hobbyists, especially miniature makers, who want strong automatic supports.
