About Hygraph

Hygraph, formerly GraphCMS, is a hosted headless CMS built around GraphQL. Every schema you model in the browser gets a GraphQL API for reading and writing content, and its content federation feature lets you connect remote REST or GraphQL sources, such as a commerce or product database, so they appear alongside your own content in one API. It includes localisation, roles, workflows, scheduled publishing, version history and taxonomies on higher plans. It is used by teams building multi-channel products where content needs to be combined with data from other systems. A free Hobby plan suits personal projects, the Growth plan is a fixed monthly price, and enterprise plans add SLAs and advanced governance. The downsides are that there's no REST API for your own content, the jump from free to paid is large, and editors get a form-based interface rather than visual page editing. It is a web app with no self-hosted option.

Best for: Teams that work in GraphQL and need to combine content with other APIs.
