About ISL Online
ISL Online is a Slovenian remote desktop and support suite with tools for attended support (ISL Light), unattended access (ISL AlwaysOn), screen sharing and web conferencing. Its main difference is licensing: instead of paying per technician or per device, you buy concurrent sessions, so any number of staff can share a licence as long as they aren't all connected at once. That suits help desks with many occasional technicians. It also gives you a choice of deployment: ISL's cloud, a server licence you run on your own premises, or a managed private cloud, which appeals to organisations with data-residency requirements. A 15-day free trial covers one user and a handful of managed devices, and mobile apps are included. Clients cover Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. It is less known than TeamViewer, so the person being helped may hesitate at an unfamiliar download.
Best for: Help desks with many part-time technicians or a need to self-host the server.
