About BeyondTrust Remote Support

BeyondTrust Remote Support, formerly Bomgar, is aimed at large IT service desks and regulated organisations such as banks, hospitals and government agencies. Technicians use a representative console to start attended sessions or reach devices through persistent Jump Clients, and every session can be recorded and logged in detail. Its selling points are security and control: granular permissions, credential injection from a vault so technicians never see passwords, approval workflows, and integration with BeyondTrust's privileged access products. It can run as a BeyondTrust-hosted cloud service or on a physical or virtual B Series appliance inside your network. Platform support is broad, covering Windows (including native ARM builds), macOS, many Linux distributions, Raspberry Pi, Android and iOS. Pricing is quote-based and aimed at enterprises, so it is far more than a small team needs, and the console has a learning curve.

Best for: Large or regulated service desks that need audited, tightly controlled remote support.
