About Ivory

Ivory is a third-party Mastodon app from Tapbots, the small studio that made Tweetbot before Twitter cut off third-party clients. It brings that design polish to the fediverse: a smooth timeline that syncs your reading position across devices, multiple accounts, lists, powerful timeline filters such as media-only views, statistics, and multi-column layouts on iPad and Mac. It works with Mastodon and other servers that support the Mastodon API. Ivory is a subscription app, offered through the App Store with a free 7-day trial, and that subscription funds ongoing development. It runs on iPhone, iPad and Mac only. It is the app many Apple users pick to make Mastodon feel as refined as the best Twitter clients were, but it doesn't help Android or Windows users, and you still need a Mastodon account on a server you choose.

Best for: iPhone, iPad and Mac users who want the most polished Mastodon experience.
