About jsDelivr
jsDelivr is a free content delivery network for open-source files. Any package published to npm, and any file in a public GitHub repository, can be loaded from its URLs without signing up or uploading anything, which makes it a common way to include libraries like jQuery or Bootstrap with a single script tag. You can pin an exact version, use a version range, request a minified copy of a file on the fly, or combine several files into one request. There is also a free API with package versions, entry points and download statistics. Traffic is spread across several sponsoring CDN providers and DNS providers, so it does not depend on one network. jsDelivr has been running since 2012 and has no paid tier or bandwidth limits. It only serves open-source content, so it is not a replacement for a commercial CDN in front of your own site.
Best for: Developers who want to load open-source npm or GitHub files from a CDN with no setup.

Pros and cons
What works
- Free with no bandwidth limits or sign-up
- Serves any npm package or public GitHub file automatically
- Multi-CDN setup with on-the-fly minification and file combining
Why people leave
- Only for open-source files, not your own private site assets
- No service-level agreement or paid support
- Loading from a third-party CDN adds an external dependency and request to your pages
