About Keyguard

Keyguard is an independent password manager client that works with two kinds of vault: Bitwarden accounts, including self-hosted servers such as Vaultwarden, and KeePass (KDBX) database files. It is not made by or associated with Bitwarden. It aims to be a nicer-looking, more feature-rich front end, with autofill for logins, passkey support, offline access to vaults, and a Watchtower view that flags leaked, reused and weak passwords and other issues. It also supports multiple accounts in one app and has search and filtering for large vaults. Keyguard runs on Android, including Wear OS, and has desktop builds for Windows, macOS and Linux; there is no iOS app or browser extension. Core use is free, and some features need a premium licence bought once or as a subscription. The source code is published on GitHub but under a custom licence for personal use only, so it is source-available rather than open source.

Best for: Android users of Bitwarden or KeePass who want a richer client with offline access and audits..
