About Krisp

Krisp made its name removing background noise, voices and echo from calls, working as a virtual microphone and speaker between your hardware and any call app. It has since added a bot-free AI meeting assistant: because it already sits in the audio path, it can transcribe and record any call without a bot joining, then produce notes, summaries and action items, including for in-person meetings via its mobile app. Higher plans add accent conversion, which adjusts your speech for listeners in real time, along with advanced integrations and admin controls; a separate product line serves call centres. There's a seven-day free trial of premium features, after which paid plans are per user per month, and the noise cancellation remains the main reason many people install it. It runs as a desktop app on Mac and Windows. Note-taking is solid but less feature-rich than dedicated notetakers.

Best for: People in noisy environments who want clean audio and meeting notes from one app.
