About Next

Next is a British retailer selling women's, men's and children's clothing, school uniform, beauty, furniture and homeware through its website, app and more than 500 stores in the UK and Ireland. As well as its own label, the site sells hundreds of partner brands, so it works as a department store online. Delivery is usually next day for orders placed by the evening cut-off, and collection from a Next store is available. Returns to a store are free, while courier and post returns cost a small flat fee per return. Next also offers its own credit accounts: nextpay, which spreads the cost of purchases with interest, and Pay in 3. Shopping itself is free. It suits UK families who want one place for clothes, kidswear and home items, but it ships mainly within the UK and Ireland, and its credit accounts carry a high APR.

Best for: UK families buying clothes, kidswear, school uniform and homeware in one place.
