About NHS App
The NHS App is the official health app for patients registered with a GP surgery in England and the Isle of Man. Once you prove your identity through NHS login, it connects to your GP practice so you can book and cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions and nominate a pharmacy, read parts of your GP record, see test results and documents such as surgery letters, and message your practice where the surgery allows it. It also covers vaccination records, organ donation and NHS 111 online, and lets you act on behalf of a child or someone you care for. Everything is free, and the same services are available by logging in through the NHS website on a computer, without installing anything. What you can actually do depends on which online services your GP surgery has switched on, so two people can see quite different apps. People in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, and those registered with Defence Medical Services, cannot use it.
Best for: Patients registered with a GP in England who want one official app for NHS services.
