About Practo
Practo is an Indian healthcare app that started in 2009 as a doctor directory and appointment booking service. You can search verified doctors by speciality and location, book in-clinic appointments at partner hospitals and clinics, or start an instant video or chat consultation that connects you to a doctor within about a minute. It also books diagnostic tests with home sample collection and orders medicines through partner pharmacies. Practo Plus is a paid subscription that covers unlimited online consultations, within fair-use limits, for you and family members. Searching and booking are free; you pay consultation fees, tests and medicines, or a Plus plan. On the provider side, Practo sells clinic and hospital software. It runs on the web, Android and iOS and is aimed at patients in India.
