About NYT Cooking

NYT Cooking is The New York Times' recipe service. It collects recipes from the paper's food writers and test kitchen, with how-to guides, step-by-step videos and editor-picked collections. Subscribers get the full recipe archive, the mobile apps, and the Recipe Box, which sorts saved recipes into smart folders, lets you make your own folders, add private notes and import recipes from other websites. A Cook Mode and community notes help while cooking. It is a paid subscription, billed every four weeks or yearly, and is also included in the Times' All Access bundle but not the Basic news plan. Without paying you can see a rotating selection of recipes and save them to a free account. It runs on the web, iPhone, iPad and Android. It suits cooks who want reliable, edited recipes and are happy to pay instead of seeing ads.

Best for: Cooks who want professionally tested recipes and will pay for a cleaner, curated experience.
