About Paprika Recipe Manager

Paprika is a long-running recipe manager from Hindsight Labs that helps you collect recipes, plan meals and build shopping lists. Its built-in browser pulls the ingredients and steps out of a recipe page with one tap, stripping away the blog text around it, and you can also type recipes in yourself with photos and formatting. While cooking, it keeps the screen awake, lets you cross off ingredients, detects timers in the directions and scales or converts quantities. The meal planner works by week or month, and grocery lists combine duplicate ingredients and sort them by aisle. A free Paprika Cloud Sync account keeps everything in step across devices. There is no subscription: each platform version (iOS, Android, Mac and Windows) is a separate one-time purchase, which is cheap over time but adds up if you want it everywhere. A Paprika 4 beta is underway.
