About Plasma System Monitor
Plasma System Monitor is KDE's tool for watching hardware and managing processes, and it comes with the Plasma desktop on distributions such as Kubuntu, KDE neon and Fedora KDE. The default pages give an overview of CPU, memory, disk and network use, a list of running applications and a full process table where you can end or kill tasks. Its distinguishing feature is customisation: you can edit pages or build new ones from any sensors the system exposes, choosing chart styles and layouts, and the same sensors can be shown as desktop or panel widgets. It replaced the older KSysGuard in Plasma 5. It is free and open source under GPL licences and is developed by KDE as part of each Plasma release. It is designed for KDE Plasma, so on other desktops it pulls in Plasma libraries and looks out of place. GPU support depends on your hardware and drivers and is less detailed than in Mission Center.
Best for: KDE Plasma users who want a monitor they can rearrange around the sensors they care about.
