About Plesk

Plesk is one of the two big commercial hosting control panels, alongside cPanel. Installed on a VPS or dedicated server, it gives you a web interface for websites, domains, email, DNS, databases, SSL certificates, backups and security, and splits access between administrators, resellers and customers. Unlike most panels it runs on both Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux and others) and Windows Server, which makes it a common choice for hosts serving ASP.NET as well as PHP sites. Its WP Toolkit manages, updates and secures many WordPress sites at once, and more than 100 extensions add tools such as Cloudflare, Let's Encrypt, Git and malware scanning. It's owned by WebPros, the same group as cPanel. Pricing is a paid licence per server, by month or year, in editions that differ mainly by how many domains you can host; many hosting providers also include it with their servers.

Best for: Agencies and hosts managing many client sites, especially WordPress or Windows hosting.
