About Privacy Badger
Privacy Badger is a browser extension from the Electronic Frontier Foundation, the digital rights non-profit. Instead of relying mainly on a hand-curated blocklist, it watches for third-party domains that appear to track you across sites and blocks them, and it receives periodic learning updates from the EFF's Badger Sett training project. It also sends Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals, blocks some link-tracking, and replaces social buttons and embeds with click-to-activate placeholders. It is free, open source under GPL v3 or later, works with no configuration, and is available for Chrome, Firefox, Firefox for Android, Edge and Safari. Privacy Badger is not an ad blocker: ads that don't track you can still appear. Many people run it alongside uBlock Origin, though the overlap is large.
Best for: People who want automatic tracker blocking from a trusted non-profit.
