About RadiAnt DICOM Viewer

RadiAnt DICOM Viewer is a Windows app from Medixant, a Polish company, for opening and reading medical images such as CT, MR, X-ray, mammography, ultrasound and PET studies. It is known for being quick and easy to use: studies open from discs, USB drives, folders or a PACS server, several series can be compared side by side, and it includes measurements, multiplanar reconstruction and 3D volume rendering. A local archive keeps imported studies on disk, and images can be exported to JPEG, BMP or video. A separate CD/DVD edition can be bundled on patient discs so the viewer runs without installation. The standard edition is sold as a time-limited subscription per PC, and the CD/DVD edition as a permanent licence per recorder. It runs only on Windows, and the vendor states it is not a certified medical device, so it isn't meant for diagnosis.

Best for: Windows users who want a quick, easy viewer for CT, MR and X-ray studies from discs or PACS.
