About Recorded Future

Recorded Future is a commercial threat intelligence platform used by security operations, threat intelligence, fraud and risk teams at large companies and governments. It continuously collects data from the open web, dark web, technical feeds and customer telemetry, links it in its Intelligence Graph, and scores threat actors, malware, vulnerabilities, domains and IPs so analysts can see what matters to them. Its Insikt Group researchers add written analysis and reports. The product is sold as four solutions: cyber operations, digital risk protection (brand impersonation and leaked credentials), third-party risk, and payment fraud intelligence. Intelligence flows into SIEM, SOAR, EDR and firewall tools through a long list of integrations, and newer features automate turning threat reports into detections. It also publishes The Record news site and free browser tools. Pricing is enterprise and quote-only. It is overkill for small teams but a standard choice for mature security programs.

Best for: Large security and fraud teams that need broad, scored threat intelligence wired into their tools.
