About Feedly

Feedly became the default RSS reader for many people after Google Reader closed in 2013, and its News Reader is still one of the most widely used. You follow websites, blogs and industry publications, pull email newsletters into the reader, add Google News keyword feeds, and save articles to Boards with notes and highlights. Search covers your sources, and there are iOS and Android apps plus Chrome and Firefox extensions. A free account covers a limited number of sources and needs no credit card; paid Pro tiers add more feeds, search, newsletters and integrations, and an AI assistant on higher plans. The company's focus has shifted towards Market Intelligence and Threat Intelligence products for companies, which now lead its homepage, so individual readers sometimes find the consumer reader gets less attention and that useful features sit behind upgrades. It suits people who want a well-known, cross-platform reader that many third-party apps can sync with.

Best for: People who want a widely supported hosted reader that many third-party apps sync with.
