About Remote Desktop Manager
Remote Desktop Manager (RDM) from Devolutions doesn't provide remote access itself; it organises it. IT teams store hundreds of connections, from RDP, SSH, VNC, Telnet and web interfaces to TeamViewer, VMware and cloud consoles, together with their credentials, then launch them in tabs from one app. Connections and passwords can live in a local file or in a shared repository such as Devolutions Server or Devolutions Hub, with role-based permissions, check-out and audit logs, which is where it overlaps with privileged access management. A Free edition suits individuals who don't need to share connections, and team editions are sold as subscriptions, with a 14-day trial of the full version. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. Because it does so much, the interface is dense and takes a while to learn, and the cost adds up once you add the server products teams usually need.
Best for: IT teams juggling many RDP, SSH and VNC connections and the credentials that go with them.
