About Screen Studio
Screen Studio is a Mac app that makes ordinary screen recordings look like edited product videos. While you record, it tracks the cursor and clicks, then automatically zooms into the area you are working in, smooths mouse movement and frames the result on a background with padding and rounded corners. You can adjust or remove each zoom, add a webcam overlay, captions and audio clean-up, and export presets tuned for social media, websites or shareable links. It can also record iPhones and iPads over a cable. It became popular with startup founders and indie developers for launch videos and changelog clips because it saves hours of manual keyframing. Pricing is a subscription with all features in every plan, and earlier one-time licences remain valid. It runs only on macOS. It is not a general video editor or a team messaging platform, so longer content or async team video may need other tools.
Best for: Founders and developers making polished product demos and launch videos on a Mac.
