About ShipMonk

ShipMonk is a third-party logistics provider for ecommerce brands that sell direct to consumers, through marketplaces and to retailers. It stores inventory in its own fulfillment centres, grouped into campuses in key markets, and handles pick-and-pack, returns, kitting and custom packaging, cross-border shipping and retail orders that need EDI and routing-guide compliance. Its software covers order, warehouse and inventory management, with reporting, an API and integrations with more than a hundred carts, marketplaces and other tools. Shipping goes through what it calls a Virtual Carrier Network, which picks carriers to hit delivery dates at lower cost. Pricing is quoted per customer and broken into storage, fulfillment fees, special projects and shipping, with no public rate card. It is aimed at brands with steady order volume rather than very small sellers, and the operation is SOC 2 compliant.

Best for: DTC and omnichannel brands that want one 3PL for parcels, marketplace and retail orders.
