About Shortcut
Shortcut, formerly called Clubhouse, is a project management tool built for software and product teams. Work is organised as stories grouped into epics and objectives, planned in iterations, and tracked on Kanban boards and a roadmap. It sits between Jira and Linear in feel: more structure than a simple board, far less configuration than Jira, and a clean interface with keyboard shortcuts. Integrations with GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket move stories automatically as branches and pull requests progress, and there is a built-in docs feature for specs plus an API for custom automations. It is a good fit for engineering teams of roughly five to a few hundred people who want sensible defaults. The free plan suits small teams; paid Team and Business plans are priced per user and add reporting, more workspaces and advanced permissions, with an Enterprise tier above. Shortcut runs in the browser.
Best for: Engineering teams that want structure like Jira without the configuration overhead.
