About Sniply
Sniply does one unusual thing: when you share someone else's article or page, the short link opens it with a small call-to-action overlay of your own, such as a button, form or banner pointing back to your site, newsletter or offer. The idea is to get value from content curation on social media, where you would otherwise send traffic away for nothing. It also works as a regular branded link shortener with custom domains, analytics on clicks and CTA conversions, team members and workspaces. Integrations with Hootsuite, Buffer, Sendible, Mailchimp and Zapier, plus a browser extension, make it easy to snip links while scheduling posts. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and plans are priced monthly or annually by link clicks, CTAs and workspaces; API access is reserved for enterprise deals. It is web-based. Some sites block being framed, which limits where overlays work, and visitors can find the overlays intrusive.
Best for: Social media marketers who share curated content and want to drive traffic back to their own offer.
