About Spokenly

Spokenly turns speech into text wherever your cursor is. You press a shortcut, talk, and the words land in your browser, email, chat app, code editor or a coding agent's prompt box. It runs Whisper and Parakeet speech models on your own device for free, with no word limits and no account, and a local-only mode blocks all network requests. If you want cloud transcription, you can plug in your own API keys from providers such as OpenAI, Deepgram or Groq at no extra charge, or pay for Pro, which bundles high-accuracy cloud models and AI cleanup that fixes grammar, removes filler words and formats text for the app you're in. A one-time Local+ purchase adds settings sync and extra recording styles. It handles over 100 languages, keeps a searchable history with audio, and can record meetings on Mac without a bot. Apps are available for macOS, Windows, Linux and iPhone.

Best for: People who want free, private, system-wide dictation, including developers talking to coding agents.
