About Strides

Strides is a tracker for people whose goals do not all fit a daily checkbox. Alongside ordinary good and bad habits, you can set a target value by a date (save a sum, run a distance), track a rolling average (sleep hours, spending per week) or break a project into milestones. A pace line shows whether you are on track rather than just whether you ticked today, and each tracker gets its own charts that roll up into a progress report. Templates and a SMART goal setup help with planning, and reminders are flexible. It started on iPhone and now has an Android app too. Strides is free to start with a limited number of trackers, with a paid Strides Plus tier, as a subscription or lifetime purchase, for unlimited trackers, sync and extra features. It is a good pick for people who mix habits and longer-term goals, but the extra flexibility makes it slower to set up than a simple streak app.

Best for: People who track numeric goals and projects alongside daily habits.
