About Tactiq
Tactiq works as a Chrome extension that captures live captions from Google Meet, Zoom (in the browser) and Microsoft Teams, so you get a running transcript without any bot joining the meeting. During the call you can highlight moments and get real-time AI insights; afterwards it generates summaries, action items and follow-up content from the transcript with AI credits, and you can share or export transcripts to Google Docs, Notion and other tools. It supports more than 60 languages and has over a million extension installs. The free plan includes a set number of transcripts and AI credits per month; Pro, Team and Business add unlimited transcripts, more or unlimited AI credits and team sharing. Pricing on the site is localised by region. Because it depends on the browser and the platforms' captions, Tactiq doesn't record audio or video and doesn't work with desktop meeting apps.
Best for: People on browser-based calls who want a quick, bot-free transcript and AI summary.
